Pronunciation

Dutch uses the Latin alphabet. The main difference in pronunciation between Dutch and English is the pronunciation of vowels.
In this vowel practice, every sentence is about a certain sound. This way is shown that one sound can be spelled in several ways.

Every word has at least one syllable. If a syllable ends with a vowel, it is an open syllable.

This page contains a list of free sound files, available on this website.
